Listening to resident concerns on planning applications

The council in conjunction with our Ward Member, Charles Dehnel, managed to successfully convince the Ashford Borough Council planning committee to defer a decision on two allocated sites, Harvest House and Mulberry Hill. This is to ensure both applicants fully engage with the Parish Council, and the Design Committee, so that these developments have full engagement in terms of design, number of units, access etc. This is a significant step and clearly demonstrates that the Parish Council now listens to the concerns of the parish and acts where appropriate.
A Virtual public meeting with the developer has been planned for Tuesday 13th October 7pm. All residents are welcome to attend and an access link can be obtained from the clerk. clerk@chilhamparishcouncil.gov.uk
